Vehicle Detail
1977 Corvette I have owned this car since 1994 and have invested a lot of time and money. I bought the car with 67000 showing on the odometer but it did not run. The engine has been stroked to an externally balanced 383 with the details listed below. The interior has been redone in gray tweed. The paint is a custom blue and is in decent condition. The top is a one piece acrylic Astro Top. There are a few flaws in the paint and there are close up pictures listed. The car runs and drives but is an unfinished project with the details of what needs to be completed listed below as well. Since rebuilding the engine I have driven the car less than 3000 miles. The engine runs strong, sounds good and is a fun car with a lot of power. The car was originally an L-48 and was red. Please take a look at the pictures and email us with any questions or to schedule a time to come and see the car. There will be no test drives without the money in my hand before the car leaves my driveway. The question “Why are you selling?” always comes up when I have sold either a car or motorcycle. The reason I am selling is I bought this car years ago and my priorities have changed over the years and I have lost interest in completing this project, so it is time to pass it on to someone who will enjoy tinkering with it as much as I have. Yes it is unfinished but there are a ton of performance parts on this car and I would say around 85% complete. Sold as is, where is. There is no AC compressor or lines. o The windshield wiper motor is new but the arms and linkage should be replaced. o There are no T-Tops. (It does have an acrylic top) o I replaced the mufflers several years ago with Flow Masters and the car has pretty much sat so there are holes in the mufflers from condensation. There are no seat belts. On Oct-07-14 at 19:31:44 PDT, seller added the following information: * A note about the rust ~ There are holes in the mufflers where condensation accumulated inside of the mufflers and rusted holes from the inside out. The car is very solid and has been mostly garage kept during the years I have owned the car. Only the exhaust has rust. :)
