If you are searching for a nice 1939 Ford Coupe Street Rod, take a look at the one that I have decided to sell. I am selling the car WITHOUT A RESERVE because it is time for the car to go to the next generation street rodder. The last bidder owns the car. I have owned this car for over 26 years and enjoyed every day of ownership. I completed the car about 20 years ago and had to place it in storage due to my career moves. The car does show some age from being in storage for so long. I was finally able to get back on the car about 2 years ago and started cleaning it up and replacing what needed to be replaced. In an effort to get her roadworthy again, I have replaced the entire brake system; new pads, rotors, calipers, master cylinder, slave cylinder, wheel bearings, seals, and all of the flex hoses. All of the rubber hoses and belts were also replaced due to the years of storage. The car has a new carburetor (Holley 650 DP), new HEI distributor (MSD), Battery, Electric Fuel Pump, along with new plugs and wires. All of the fluids were drained and replenished, including the fuel, differential, transmission, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and the coolant. The car runs strong, but I have not been successful getting the timing right. I know an experienced expert at setting the timing could get the “bugs” out, but I am honestly just ready to pass the car along to someone that is younger and looking for a nice car to start their hobby. The car just needs some TLC and someone with the ambition to perfect her. I did not build the car for show, but it could run with the best of them. THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR and it is NOT perfect.
