Up for auction is a 1969 Pontiac Firebird factory 400 4 speed with A/C that has always been in California. I recently purchased this firebird from the 2nd owner who owned it for over 30 years. It is all numbers matching (engine,transmission and rear end) has 99K original miles. When i purchased the vehicle it was sitting for roughly 10 years. The intake and carburetor are not the original to the car. It has a Edelbrock aluminum intake and a Holley 750 carburetor. All I did was install a battery in it drained the old gas and installed a new fuel pump and she fired right up. I've been driving the car for the past couple of days and runs good. Could use a tune up and have carburetor adjusted for everyday use. The A/C compressor works but the fan doesn't. The original color of the car was blue with a vinyl top. The 2nd owner restored the car 30 years ago and changed the color to red and removed the vinyl top. The paint is showing its age and there is some chips here and there. The body is pretty much rust free with the exception of some light surface rust on the hood and rear window area. Interior was redone at the same time the car was restored and showing well for its age. All in all a great daily driver that needs very little. Tires will need to be replaced from there age. Factory 400 4 speed with A/C don't come up for sale that often. Comes wit a clean and clear California pink slip. Selling this vehicle in AS-IS condition with no warranty or guarantee.
