Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a nice 914 2.0 Porsche. It is originally Bahia red and has been repainted once. Its a factory 2.0, fuel injected engine. The transmission is a 901 5 speed. The previous owner converted the wheels, hubs, brakes, etc to the 5 lug set up found on 914-6 models. It has a nice set of factory Fuchs alloys and Bilstein shocks. There is a new Bosch battery. The interior is black and factory correct. The seats were redone in the factory style and look great. It has a Becker Europa 2 radio. During my ownership I've installed nearly all new weatherstripping(including removing and resealing the rear window), new Bosch plugs,German plug wires, new pushrod seals, all filters, valve cover gaskets, new Bosch coil and the valves have been adjusted. I have also installed a Momo prototipo steeringf wheel and proper alloy hub. The original steering wheel(in very nice condition) is also included. All of the gauges work(except for the temp gauge which is intermittent), all the lights, including the flip up head lights, work as they should. This 914 drives nicely with no unusual noises or issues. There isn't any rust that I can find and both doors open and close properly(unusual as its pretty common for 914s to have non-op external door handles). This a a great little Porsche to drive and enjoy. 914 values along with all early Porsches, have been on the rise. Many 914s have suffered neglect, questionable modifications and irreparable damage-this is a chance to pick up one of the most desirable 914s-the 2.0 liter model. Its one of the best color options and the 5 lug Fuchs really set off the appearance. Everywhere I drive this Porsche, I receive favorable comments. Is it perfect? No. The paint, while nice, is not a show finish. It shows very well and should be considered nice driver quality. The original carpet is showing minor wear. The dash is pretty nice, but not perfect and the Becker radio, while cosmetically beautiful, is not operating. I don't believe it is hooked up and I may have this addressed before auction end I'm also including a number of extras: the original steering wheel in great condition, a nearly complete full gasket set, a complete fog light set-up, a limited edition front spoiler, alloy lug nuts and a number of other items This cool 914 is offered at no reserve-don't miss this chance to own one before the values of nice 914s rise out of reach too. Sold "as-is" with no warranty implied or provided. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking. .
