For Sale is a 1951 Buick Special two door sedanThis is a running and driving car with current registration and clear California title/ pink slip in hand.The engine was rebuilt a few years ago and is the Buick Fireball Straight Eight Engine 263 cu, very desirable engine with tons of torque.The engine starts right up and runs great, does not burn or blow oil.still has the original floor foot starter under gas pedal, has upgraded electronic ignition and electric fuel pumpGas tank was removed and resealed Has the two speed dyno flow transmission that shifts great and goes into all gears. Car electrical has all been replaced and upgraded to 12voltsAll dash lights,running lights,headlights hi and low beam, brake lights, and turn signals workCar has wide whitewall bias ply tires that are fair shape with a newer tire on rear also has a full size wide whitewall spare.The brakes were recently redone with rebuilt wheel cylinders,brake shoes and hardwareThe body paint has a really neat barn find patina perfect for a daily driver.has a couple two inch bubbles in lower front fenders The body is straight and has been nosed,decked, and door handles shaved.needs a drivers side door mechanism to open door Front and rear windshields and rear side windows are free of cracks but does need driver and passenger side glass which have crack in them.all windows roll up and down with original regulatorsFront hood is really unique as it can be lifted from left or right sides of car or be completely removed.The side trim is all complete to car but needs more clips to hold them in place,will remove trim to prevent any pieces from being lost during transport,under stainless of back window some metal repair is needed shown in pictureThe front is complete with grille,mustache,bumper and bumper guardsRear bumper is complete with bumper guards,chrome needs to be redone for show but ok for daily driverInterior is grey and maroon and in good condition,ok for driver,needs headliner The trunk has carpet and full size spare with two bumper jacks,rear trunk needs some rust repaired with patch panels,picture shows area.the rest of floors are solid and rockers are goodHas original steel rear fender skirts,car has not been lowered and has original chassis components,has four wheel coils and shocksI have extra parts that I will include with sale, generator, 2 starters, carburetor ,spark plug cover,battery tray, misc gaskets etcPlease examine the high resolution photos and ask all questions prior to bidding,we will do are best to answer questions to the best of our ability, we are not car experts.If you would like to examine and take car for a test drive please contact us for an appointment.We have shipped cars and motorcycles in the states and overseas.We live near the ports of Los Angeles and can assist with container shippingWe have several numbers of transporters if needed.Due to shipping restrictions no overseas buyers from Nigeria, Bangkok, China, Italy,or Thailand.All sales final,no warranty implied unless in writing between the seller and the buyer.Buyer assumes all customs,duties and taxes to which car is being deliveredThanks for viewing
