Vehicle Detail
1984 Dodge Omni with 45, 792 original miles. Automatic, front wheel drive. Runs well, everything works. Solid car, newer exhaust, rear brakes, and battery. Use it for an economical winter car, car for a college student, or everyday driver. I was going to use this for a basis for a GLHT Omni Turbo clone but time and money got in the way. Body is solid, only dents are in right side rear door, but I will include an undented door. It has places where it has been touched up and primed in white, but looks good from a few feet away. Interior is very clean and looks really good with a few small tears in the vinyl of the seats, and the center console armrest has separated on the edges. Solid underside, no rot. It has 2 good all season winter tires, and needs 2 tires. I will include a pair of decent matching tires. In answer to the inevitable question of can you drive it home, I drove it 60 miles from Maine to my home and it ran well, but tires are chopped and make noise. The only other thing that I should mention is that the drivers seat recliner latch does not catch in all positions so it reclines further back than I would like. You can drive it as is, or fix the latch. Another way to fix would be to switch the driver's and passenger's seats. You can buy red bucket seats on Ebay that will fit the car for less than $300 if you want to add a unique touch. All things considered a fun antique car that doesn't need much and you can drive it while you restore to its original state or customize it. I have the original owner's title to document the miles, and a copy of the previous owners registration, so most states will allow you to register it with these. Check your local laws to make sure before bidding. Payment is expected within 7 days of auction close. The winning bidder is responsible for arranging pickup and transport of the car. The car is sold as is, as described, with no warranty expressed or implied. Regarding my feedback- this is a new Ebay account for my cars and parts. My other business "baronvonplastic" has over 17,000 positive feedbacks, with a number of them from vehicles and parts. I thought it was time to separate them.
