NO RESERVE! BIDDING STARTS AT A REASONABLE $5000 I wanted a 1976 Corvette for at least 20 years, it's the year I was born. Last summer I finally got this one, and...... I hardly drive it and have more than enough bills to pay, so here it is. L-48 350 with a whopping 180 horsepower, that was big in 76, not so much today. It does run and drive good, handles like a sports car, and sounds more powerful than it is through Flowmaster mufflers. I've driven it on a 150 mile road trip, and around town in summer heat, very reliable. It prefers premium gas, most of the gauges work, clock, oil pressure, and amps do not, important ones like the gas and temp gauges do. I was told by the last owner who had it for 10 years, to always gas up at a quarter tank, same thing we have to do with our 2003 Tahoe. Aluminum wheels are correct and original to the car, first year they were optional, tires have lots of life left, frame and floors are good. Looks to have had one repaint in original color, paint is mostly good, but has chips and scratches. Interior is original and getting worn but really not bad for 38 years. I have a wife a three little kids so I'll be looking for something like a 50's-60's wagon, or 2 door Falcon, Fairlane, Biscayne, Bel Air, Chevelle, Buick GS, Olds, you get the idea.
