Vehicle Detail

The first four pictures are of the car as it is today: bumpers, fenders, doors, apron, trunk, etc--all bolted on. I urge you to review the link below for more details. Recently, the owner of Desert Classic Mustangs of Scottsdale, Arizona inspected this vehicle. Desert Classic Mustangs is the premiere restomod shop in the Southwest and specializes in converting coupes to fastbacks. Their phone number is: 480-947-12 six eight. At one point this car was a restored, collector-quality, red 1965 Mustang GT. During the original restoration the car was rotisserie stripped to bare metal. Since, it has undergone a resto-mod transformation. Ryno Built Customs in Missouri performed all the work. You can follow the build by doing a search and typing in: pro-touring.com/threads/87037-65-mustang-coupe-tornado-survivor-face-lift (Ebay would not allow me to post the link). The motor is a 4.6l 32 valve DOHC EFI Cobra CRATE engine directly from Ford Racing. The engine is complete and has ZERO miles (it was installed in another project at one point but that vehicle never saw pavement). Engine has AFR fuel rails and comes with reworked harness and computer. The transmission is a brand new 5 speed also from Ford Racing. The engine and transmission are not in the car--they are crated. The front and rear suspension are TCI (Total Cost Involved) products. Torque arm 3 link rear with coils and 9" rear end. Type in this search to see the labor and skills required for installation: totalcostinvolved.com/pdf/install/mford/64-70_Mustang_Torque_Arm.pdf. (Ebay would not allow me to post the link). The front suspension is TCI's coil set up with power R&P steering and motor mounts for the 4.6 Cobra/Coyote engine. Type in this search to see the labor and skills required for installation: totalcostinvolved.com/pdf/install/mford/64-70_Ford_Mustang_Modular_Custom_IFS.pdf. (Again, Ebay would not allow me to post the link). As you can see from the Ryno Built Customs build, this car essentially has an integrated frame--beyond what Total Cost Involved requires. All the suspension/frame/chassis work is completed. The only thing remaining is powder coating or paint. See the Ryno build for details. The title is original and unmolested. The inner aprons come with the car along with the matching VIN#. Components: TCI Modular IFS front with power rack and pinion and 4.6 motor mounts: $3558.00. Please see TCI's advertisements. TCI Coil-over Torque Arm with Ford 9" housing complete with reinforcement and all mounting brackets attached: $2900.00 Brand new Billet Specialties "Lemans" rear wheels with black powder coat center section option: 18x12s ($1075.00 X 2 = $2150.00) with new BFG G-Force T/A KDW2s size 335/30/18s (384.00 X 2 = $768.00). Total for rear wheels and tires: $2918.00. Brand new Billet Specialties "Lemans" front wheels with black powder coat center section option: 18x9s ($805.00 X 2 = $1610.00) with new BFG G-Force size 275/35/18s ($227.00 X 2 = $454.00). Total cost for front wheels and tires: $2064.00. Total cost all four new wheels with new tires: $4982.00 not including tax, shipping mounting or balancing. New Wilwood disk brakes: Fronts are 13" with six piston calipers, rears are 12.6" with four piston calipers. Wilwood Dynapro Calipers part no. 120-6806-BK $174.95 X 2 = $349.90; Dynapro Calipers part no 1208079 $411.04 X 2 = $822.00. Wilwood part no. 170-6994: $157.00; part no 270-6989: $124.93 (at this point I am ceasing to list, in the interest of time, all of the other brand new brake-related parts: drilled and slotted rotors, hardware, pads, etc). Brand new Wilwood clutch/ brake pedals. Wilwood part no. 340-3950: $197.00 Brand new Moser 9" Third Member with Detroit Tru Trac, 31 spline and 3:75 gears with nodular center section and Daytona pinion support: Summit Racing part no. 3MNT31AN375: $1654.97. Brand new Moser 31 spline axles part no. A4132-31-SN: $165.00. Interior cage integrated into the chassis' frame. New Ididit stainless tilt steering column part No 1120644910: $509.00 with Ididit Column kit part no 3006002100: $165.00. Billet, leather half-wrapped steering wheel and hub adapter: $300.00. Brand new 32 valve DOHC EFI Cobra crate engine from Ford racing. Engine is complete with all accessories, fuel injection, etc. $5000.00 plus, if you can find one. Brand new 5 speed manual transmission: $1500.00. New front fenders (no hood) and new rear quarter panels (not depicted) included. All glass included (not depicted). Brand new Cipher racing seats part no. CPA1001 at $399.00 X 2 = $798.00 with racing seat belts. The seat mounts are integrated to the interior roll cage that runs along the floor boards. Seats are mounted and ready to go with sliders installed. THE PARTS TOTAL, FOR JUST THE PARTS I HAVE LISTED ABOVE (THERE ARE OTHER PARTS THAT COME WITH THE CAR) IS OVER $23,000.00. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE TAX OR SHIPPING. NOR DOES THIS FIGURE INCLUDE THE COST OF INSTALLATION. THERE IS WELL OVER $40,000.00 IN LABOR AND PARTS IN THIS VEHICLE. Shaved rain gutters, cowl vents and fire wall. No rust whatsoever--as in it never had any. There is protective tape around the stainless column--billet steering wheel, hub and horn still in the packaging and not depicted. All steering linkage is Ididit or Flaming River and is installed and complete. The interior roll cage flows along the floor and ties into the under-frame. This also supports the seat bases/sliders with two mounting positions depending on driver's height. The rear of the cage exits into the read deck lid through factory openings and ties back into the rear frame. This car was factory red. The VIN is 5F07A719306. This indicates that the vehicle is a 1965 made in Dearborn, MI. Engine was a 289 4v V8. Regarding the rear wheels: Quarter panel arches or a stretch to encompass the rear wheels is necessary. Conversely, Billet Specialties can re-barrel the existing rear wheels. The rears are 18x12. 18x10 should clear with no quarter panel modifications. Questions? David at 602-616-three three seven five. Once could not buy the parts used in this car for anywhere near my starting price. This car would be an excellent candidate for a fastback conversion. I have flirted with the conversion fastback kit from Thoroughbredgt. For under 5k this car could be a fastback. Google the name for details. Ebay would not allow me to post the link. Vehicle is in Phoenix, Arizona 85044. I can assist with locating a shipper. I am a licensed Arizona attorney.
