**** ESTATE SALE **** From a southern California ESTATE ....... We are selling a very well kept example of a Backdraft Racing Co. COBRA sports car and this car must be seen to be believed. One senior citizen owner who spent more time polishing it than driving it and it was always kept indoors when not in use. This is one of the nicest examples of a Backdraft Racing Co. Cobra that you will find anywhere. It has a clear California title and it is smog exempt in California. As good as it gets. The owner purchased the Car new in 2004 and it currently has 23,725 miles on the odometer. It has only averaged about 2,300 miles per year and has never seen any adverse weather. No Snow, No Rain and No Salt on roads. This car has always been kept inside a climate controlled garage when not in use and under a cover. It is obvious when you see the Car. The Black paint is show quality and if you had to describe the car in one word ....... The Word would be ........ STUNNING ......... Powered by a FORD 351 Crate HO engine that is putting out almost 400 horsepower and that is coupled to a T-5 manual 5 speed transmission. This is a smooth running car that runs well even in traffic and does not overheat. It has a aluminum radiator and 2 cooling fans up front.......... Extremely well sorted out and pampered by the original owner and someone ..... (WHY NOT YOU?) ..... is going to make a great buy on this Car. This is the rare hot rod that fits right in on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and is equally good at blasting up Pacific Coast Highway with the wind in your hair. This is a car that you will never forget. Backdraft Racing Co. started building these COBRA replica's in 2002 in Florida and they rapidly set the bar very high ..... that all other COBRA reproductions are measured by. They use BMW 3 series suspension and brakes so the handling of this Backdraft COBRA is better than the original AC Cobra's ....... and I am not kidding. This one was made in 2004 and was the 97th one made by Backdraft. It comes with the original notebook the owner received when he purchased it. It is very well equipped including full instrumentation with 7 gauges and a CD player that holds 10 CD's mounted in the trunk ....... although the sound of this engine is what you will mostly want to listen to. The black paint on this car is show quality and it attracts a crowd wherever it goes. The engine lights instantly and it does not leak even one drop of any fluids. It has power steering and the power assisted disc brakes are superb with 12 inch disc's on the front and 11 inch disc's on the rear. It is currently shod with BF Goodrich TA Radial tires ..... P295/50 R15 on the front and P235/60 R15 on the rear. The front tires are at about 90% of new and the rear tires are better than 70%. This car stops as well as it goes! Some people prefer the big block 427 motors for power but I think this 351W crate motor is a much better choice. It is very powerful with almost 400 horsepower and it is lighter than the 427 engines so the handling is better and it is much easier to work on ...... even just for routine maintenance. It has 9.2 to 1 compression with aluminum heads and the engine rods were upgraded to chrome moly rods for better reliability. The stainless steel headers and side pipes give it not only the sound ....... but the look of a true hot rod. This Car will not leave you wanting for more power. It would cost over $65,000.00 to duplicate this car today ...... and the first $41,850.00 or close to it ........ will take this one home.
