2002 VW Jetta. True mileage unknown!!. Display odometer is not showing correct mileage for some reason. This has been my sole daily driver and will continue to be until sold. I drive this 7 days a week. 5 days back and forth to work. And every day on the weekend. It has been extremely reliable and has given me very little issue. I have priced it to move and have reudced the price for an amazing deal, and considering the minor damage to the front end and fenders. I currently drive it as is however if you choose to repair it I have priced it low enough to save room for the repairs. Here is everything I currently know in need of repair. Tires=need replaced there is a medium amount of road noise due to the tires in poor shape., Front brakes need replaced, rear brakes are fairly new. Driver side window up/down button is broke. I can still get the window up and down it just takes a little figuring out how to push what's left of the button. All windows and door locks work. Glove box latch is broke and needs an alternative method to hold it closed. Cluster illuminated light at night time sometimes does not come on when you turn the switch on, it may take several on/off cycles to finally get it on.. Both head lights work, brake lights work, turn signal works except the "extra turn " lamp in the fender which is out.. Seats both driver and passenger slide/tilt as designed however small rips/holes/ stains are to be expected. Back seat all seat belts work as designed but rips /holes/stains are to be expected. Radio works fine, CD player works fine, tape deck works fine. Wipers work in all modes however the cleaning fluid tank will not hold fluid. A/C blows very cold. Heat is hot. Spare tire is included with a jack MOTOR: starts, runs, no smoke, no knocks, no engine noise. Smooth running. Transmission shifts into all gears in automatic with no hesitation, bumps, grind etc. over all this has been a fantastic running car. Reliability I'd give it an 8, cosmetically exterior I'd give a 5, interior if give a 6 consist with the age. We took a trip to Texas from Carolina this past January with no issues. However I would not recommend a very long trip without Replacing the tires. If you are from out of state and plan to drive this home DAMAGE: damage was limited to cosmetic (bumper, hood, fenders) and passenger headlight assembly. Headlights works (hi and low beam) and has just a temporary cover to protect the bulb. Please contact me with any questions. This is a Southern car with minimal to no rust.
