Selling my 1996 Ford F250 XLT with a 7.3 Liter Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine. This truck is in extremely nice condition, very clean inside & out, very well taken care of - this truck is not an old farm truck that has been beat to hell. The truck does NOT HAVE THE TYPICAL FORD RUST most of these have; cab corners, outside door corners, rockers, fenders, chassis & cross-member supports are all still in very good shape. I noticed one very small area of the driver-side cab that started showing some paint bubble so I included it in the pic.s. As I mentioned above, if you're going to haul/pull heavy loads you might consider replacing the rear leaf spring mounts - they get pretty worn out on these trucks because of the design. Truck is set up with electronic brake controller for pulling trailer, newer tires, newer batteries (2012), fresh brake master cylinder, new ignition switch, new starter relay, replaced clutch safety switch (replacement switch allows driver to start the truck without holding in clutch too, very nice when you want to just reach in and start it). Most all of the commonly known issues with this generation have already been fixed. Power windows and locks work very well, both fuel tanks work fine, no known issues/problems with the truck other than cruise control does not work correctly, it comes on but doesn't seem to hold the speed. Engine and tranny are very strong, engine puffs on start-up but I think that's normal. Transmission is still very smooth; no grinding, none of the gears are hard to pull, clutch feels strong and doesn't have any leaks. Turbo spools up as it should, I always let it cool for a few minutes or so after driving to help clear out hot EGTs. All the stuff sellers hate to mention, but need to because of fraud and theft:I require a small deposit of $250.00 to be paid via Paypal within 24 hours of purchase, no exceptions unless discussed and approved first. Final payment is due within three (3) calendar days of purchase, no exceptions unless discussed and approved first. If final payment is not made within three calendar days, then the deposit becomes my property and I retain the rights to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle at will. I do not accept Paypal, credit cards, credit terms, or IOU's for full payment. Final payment must be cash, Certified bank check, or bank wire ACH. If you're going to pay with a Certified bank check I need the bank information prior to pick-up so I can call and verify authenticity. Vehicle is being sold AS-IS; there are no warranties or guarantees expressed, implied, or otherwise. This is a private party sale which means if you buy it, you own it - there are no refunds, partial refunds, reimbursements or whatever else a scammer can think of. Please make sure you can pay the amount you offer - this means checking with your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, mom, dad, your brother-in-law's cousin who knows everything about everything - whomever - do it first.
