Up for bids is this pretty much original barn find 289 coupe. This is one of those unmolested original cars you don't normally find anymore. Most of the time you find these cars are either fully restored for big money or you find a rusted out body missing a ton of stuff. This is a original C code V8 car with automatic transmission and front disc brakes somebody added at some point. When I got the car it was sitting on four flats where it had been sitting for many years. Someone had taken the interior out and was going to do a restoration on it and that was it. It sat in that spot for several years. It will need a restoration. I got the motor running good. The transmission shifts good and brakes work good. Again it has been sitting for several years so hoses might be old and that kind of stuff but the motor and transmission are good. It will need tires they are shot. I want to make this clear to the car will run and drive but the tires are shot so you can't drive it home. It will need to be trailered. It will drive on a trailer. The glass is good in it. The frame rails and trunk floor are good. The floor pans will need replacing. They are rusted from age. There are some rust bubbles in places showing through that will need some work. Overall the body looks good. I think all the body panels are repairable. That is my opinion everybody thinks different so you might want to replace a bunch of stuff but I guess that depends on how much money you have. This is a car you could restore and drive while restoring it. I took abunch of pics but if you need more just let me know. I have a clear title for it.
