It's time to sell my Coronet. I've owned this vehicle since 2001. When I bought this car it was all stock and original, located in Southern California. The body was rust free. I've always kept this car in a garage and under a car cover. BODY: Like I said this is a rust free California car. The car was striped down to bare metal and repainted about 10yrs ago and still looks great. INTERIOR: The dash is is all original and uncut, it still has the working factory AM radio. The seats have been recovered with the factory colored seat covers from Legendary Interiors. The head liner and carpeting have also been replaced (also from Legendary) The door panels are original. CHASSIS: I converted the front brakes to a disc setup from a mid 70's duster. I also changed over to manual brakes. I still have the stock power brake set up, and will include that in the sale. All the ball joints,tie rod ends and bushings have also been replaced. Sub frame connectors have been added to help with chassis flex and to improve handling. ( they are the bolt in type) ENGINE: The engine is a 440 bored .30 over with TRW forged pistons, six pack rods and steel crank, the rotating assembly has been balanced. The heads have hardened valve seats and heavy duty rockers. Intake is a holley street dominator and a holley 850 carburetor, cam is just a mild RV cam. The exhaust system has headman headers and a 3in. x-pipe exhaust with 2 1/2 in tail pipes. TRANSMISSION: Rebuilt with all quality parts, mild shift kit, 2600 stall converter. REAR END: I have the stock gears in now, however I will include another third member setup in the sale. The extra third member has a 789 housing, 3.91 gears and a clutch type sure grip. WHEELS AND TIRES: Weld drag lights front and rear. Drag radial tires are in the back (they will need to be replaced soon) MISC: I have a bunch of extra spare parts that go with car, like an extra grill and grill surrounds, tail lights and housings, etc. PERFORMANCE: I only raced this car a few times in 2007, most of the time I just went to cruise ins and car shows. When I did race it, the best time I got was 13.3 in the quarter mile, those times are with the 3.91 gears. (at a 2600ft elevation track)
