Hello, You are viewing a 1963 Triumph Tr4 that had 2 owners its entire life and showing 22,023 miles. I purchased this car a few weeks ago from an elderly gentleman that owned it since 1970. He told me that when he purchased it at that time, the car had about 19,000 miles on it, during that time he said the car overheated and he then had the head,valves and clutch done.He insist that those are the original miles and he drove very little (3,000 miles since 1970). The winner of this auction can verify the miles with the 2nd owner if he or she chooses. I and selling the car with the miles exempt. Car runs, drives and stops (smooth and straight).The engine sound very good (no odd noises). The motor oil is so clean that when I first checked the dip stick I thought it was empty. (carburetors could use a rebuilt and or an adjustment) Brakes stop very well (newer calipers). Emergency brake holds. Transmission syncrhos are very good with no grinding. Clutch is very strong. Soft top is newer. Wood and dash are in great condition. Seats (have been mended) and door panels carpets are in presentable condition. Blower, wipers, horn, radio, lights, and blinker all work. Paint is in poor condition. Body appears very solid. Chrome is in good presentable condition. Very little rust. underneath, seems solid..Passenger door closes but needs to be adjusted. This car is sold in "as is condition". I do welcome a pre-purchase inspection. Also included is the shop manual, spare wheel and tire, jack, tools, lead hammer, tonneau top, extra distributor, fuel pump and many other spare parts.
