Vehicle Detail
1968 Ford Mustang CoupeThe car is originally from Texas, then to Arizona, then to me. 289 V8Automatic TransmissionNew tiresGT-style wheelsBlue paint (about a 7/8 out of 10). Decent "driver" quality, but certainly not "show" quality. Black vinyl roof - NEWNew paint about 2-3 years ago or so. No rust, no paint bubbling, etc. Just nice and solid.Torque boxes, etc. are nice and rust free (see the pics) ***One thing that makes this car desirable is that it appears to originally be a RED car with BLACK interior AND factory AC AND power steering ***Floor pans were professionally replaced. The bottom is Ziebarted. The interior was painted with POR 15 as was the trunk. All the work was done at a shop in Manawa, Wisconsin where the owner specializes in vintage Mustangs...so everything was done RIGHT. Black interior (pretty nice about a 7/8 out of 10) Black "C" stripe kit. Power steeringThe brakes are in good shape. The chrome was all polished when the car was painted, and some was new as well as some emblems.New rubber on windows and trunk. In the 1990's, the transmission and the engine were overhauled, including a new flywheel and starter. The suspension was also redone, including air shocks. Air conditioning is from the FACTORY and yes it WORKS nice and blows cold as it should. Has an aftermarket vintage Mustang radio that works great and CRANKS! has MP3 / Ipod plugNo rust. Bottom in really nice shape. Body in really nice shape. Really nice driver quality car. Runs excellent. When we took it out of storage, we did a tune up, rebuilt the carb, replaced the rear main seal and pan gasket, and oil pump since we had the pan off anyway), and replaced the valve cover gasket, etc etc. Took care of all the "Fun" stuff. It had some drips from the seals getting old, so we replaced them. It's a great hop-in-and-drive car with no known issues other than the window regulator on the passenger side could use lube. I replaced the window cranks (not pictured). I would have no issue about hopping in it right now and driving it cross-country to California. You can buy the car, fly in (airport is very close) and drive it home without worry. The car is, and has been, female daily driven now consistently. Car shows / cruise ins 3-6 days a week. The car is washed, cleaned, and polished on a very regular basis. This is a great investment that you can drive for 10 years and never ever lose a penny...they are only going UP in value. Email me for a Buy It Now price.I will help with overseas buyers. My husband has experience with exporting and can help. We can also help with transport in the lower 48 states (at buyers expense, of course).Bid to win! This car WILL sell!
