Vehicle Detail
I hate to admit we had a good idea for a car show but it's not going to work out. My medical condition is not as good as I was told two months ago so more treatment will be needed and I need to take care of that first. This is a real cool little car. I finally got it running pretty good although it could use a better fuel pump (they are here on ebay too). The car now runs and drives. Needs some brake work, I would replace the lines, the master cylinder seems to be ok and some wheels stop, but not all. Interior is fair in the back but poor up front. Needs recover. Floors are pretty much solid, glass is good, tires are fair. No a/c nor radio (came from the factory that way). Stop by to see and test drive. I'm just trying to recover what money and time I have into it. Don't plan on driving it home with the brakes the way they are right now. Yes, it stops but not straight in a panic stop. The front seat needs some padding replaced too as well as recover. This car reminds me of my cousin Lois's car (the green falcon) used in the movie "No Country for Old Men". When they came to shoot the movie in Marfa, TX one of the location guys saw Lois's car, much like this one, and asked if it could be used in the movie just the way it was because "you couldn't pay someone to make a car look that cool".
