1970 Cutlass Supreme convertible 63700 documented original miles, I am the third owner of this car. Special ordered from Cunningham Oldsmobile in Kansas City Missouri, built in Fremont California during the 3rd week of May, 1970. This 1970 Cutlass Supreme convertible is a highly optioned and documented “Production Bypass” special order assembly, with its original numbers matching engine and build sheet, possibly making this a 1 of 1 build. Options include: 350 Cu. In. 2-Bbl engine, 350 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, tinted glass (including windshield), air conditioning, bucket seats with floor shift automatic console, power steering, power windows, power brakes, tilt steering column, sport steering wheel, wire wheel covers, speed minder speedometer, in dash clock, factory AM/FM stereo, windshield embedded antenna, power trunk release, courtesy light package including glove box light, map light in rear view mirror and lights under the hood and trunk lid, all verified factory installed options on the original build sheet. Ultra rare floor shift speed warning speedometer. You can set the small yellow needle to any speed between 25 and 120 MPH, when that speed is reached, a buzzer will sound. Less than 2% of Oldsmobile’s build in 1970 had this option. These speed minder speedometers are rare enough on column shift cars, and are even less frequently found on floor shifted cars. UPPER BODY: Convertible Top (Code A) White (currently has a black convertible top) WHEELS: COLOR CODE 19 Ebony Black The original white convertible top was replaced in 2001 with a black convertible top with glass rear window. The top is in very good condition showing little signs of wear. It goes up and down perfectly. The rally wheels pictured on the car are correct for the car, but not original to the vehicle. The 235/60/14 tires are brand new, the lug nuts, center caps and trim rings are also brand new. The original 14”x 6” code XE wheels and N95 wire wheel covers come with the car, they have newer tires mounted on them and they are in very good original condition. This Cutlass Supreme convertible is rust free, and has had one repaint in 1981. The door jams and underside of the trunk lid were not repainted and still have the original paint.What was once a quality paint job in 1981, now has several scrapes and scratches, and there are some very minor dents on the hood. However the paint still shines and has a decent driver quality appearance. The car appears to have all of its original metal including quarter panels, fenders, doors, floors, trunk, trunk lid and hood. This Cutlass Supreme convertible has never been in an accident. The 350 Cu. In. engine burns absolutely no oil and runs smooth and quiet. It could be driven across country without hesitation, there are absolutely no issues with this car. The car retains its original black interior including carpet. It also retains the original spare and jack assembly in the rust free trunk.The original owners manual comes with the car.Kick panels with speakers were added in 2002, the original kick panels come with the car. Everything works as it should.
