Beautiful California built car. Bright red factory A/C car with mildly tinted windows. This El Camino is an older restoration but is still in great shape. As you can see its red with a red and white interior. It appears that everything on the interior was replaced except the dash bezel. Aftermarket tachometer was added to the column, the rest of the interior is stock. The engine is a 283 and the transmission is a powerglide. It runs strong and doesn’t use any oil or smoke. I recently replaced the battery, starter and fuel sending unit. The engine has Power Pak heads, and Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 600 carb, Edelbrock chrome valve covers and breather and the original Opti-Clean bottle is under the hood. It also has coated headers and flo-master dual exhaust with crossover pipe and it sounds awesome. I don’t know much about the guts of the engine but can tell by the sound it has a mild cam in it. The car has power steering and manual drum brakes and is a factory air conditioned car but the a/c compressor needs replaced because the compressor rattles pretty bad when the air is turned on and the system is not charged. Would need flushed and a new compressor installed. The paint is still very decent but has a few blemishes and the bed has a heavy duty tonneau cover on it. The snaps are drilled into the bed chrome, not the body. The floor pans were replaced when the car was restored and so the floors are very solid. Much of the exterior trim was replaced including the bumpers and grille and emblems. The headlight moldings and bed trim appear original. The car also has air shocks in the rear.
