I rarely sell motorcycles that I do not own but this is an exception. I have known the owner for many years and know the bike well. This motorcycle is in the hands of the original owner who has all of the original paperwork; including the original bill of sale from the dealership where he purchased the bike new in 1982. The bike is a true survivor. It has always been stored indoors and shows no signs of sun fading, especially on the instruments. The bike starts and runs perfectly and has always been well maintained and serviced with Honda oil and filters. The cadmium and chrome hardware on the bike is exceptional. The seat is as new. The original windscreen is excellent and, as the photos indicate, the cleaning decal is still in place. The bike is complete and has had no restoration work done. The tires show very little wear but were replaced a few years ago. The battery is new. This bike has always lived in a garage in the Portland, Ore. area and has no damage due to salt or corrosion. The owner simply does not use the bike and no longer rides motorcycles. This is a very honest, original bike with very little wear. It has fallen over while being moved around but has never seen hard use. I have personally ridden this bike and it runs and rides beautifully. It's truly an exceptional example of this model, which was only produced for one year. The motorcycle comes with the original tools, manual and both original keys, which is rare.
