Up for auction is a great running and performing 66 Mustang coupe. The motor is a strong and well built 347 stroker with scat internals. Has Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads, comp roller cam and rockers, topped with an Edelbrock manifold and Holley Carb. Has shorty headers connecting to 2.5 inch flow-masters with x pipe for that deep powerful muscle car sound. Trans is a smooth and short shifting 4 speed connected to a 3.55 8" rear with a Detroit locker. Has front disc brakes and rear drum. Suspension was lowered with springs all the way around to give it a good stance and control. Interior is in good shape, all weather stripping and trim have been replaced or reconditioned. The wheels are late model mustang wheels that have been color matched to the car. The car runs and drives great. Has after market gauges to keep an eye on the engine. Brakes are tight and solid. Power booster would help for quicker stops. The clutch is very responsive and the car has a lot of power. The tight suspension keeps it in place. Now for the bad. The car has been vandalized severely. All panels have been scratched to the primer in most areas. There are a few minor dents on some panels. The car will need to be repainted to return her to the show quality she once was. I do not have the time or the means at this time to bring her back to her former glory. This car is a great driver, and if you don't mind the major scratches all over the car then this will be a perfect car. The price I want is way less then what the engine and drive line are worth. The car has a lot of potential. All she really needs is a little body work and paint. It would be a great project for someone that wants a street stomping Mustang for cheap.
