Here is a nice low hour 1983 Honda CR 125 that I purchased from the original lady owner that had not used the bike since 1992. Its been stored in a garage since then. Upon inspecting everything is very obvious the bike was not ridden hard and was taken care of, it even has the original tires still on it. Everything is super tight including the footpegs, kick start lever, shifter and brake, wheel bearings, swingarm bearings, shock linkage, its all really tight. The rear shock clickers work perfect and do what they are supposed to do as do the forks. The bike always starts with one kick and sounds great, shifts through the gears perfect and the clutch works properly too. I was told that the water pump cover was taken off and the pump housing was cleaned up due to the notorious problems this era CR has with the magnesium covers corroding. I rode the bike for about 20 minutes and didnt lose any anti-freeze so Im pretty sure all is good there. I did replace the rear fender, handlebars and I put in a new Uni air filter. The front fender is faded but still doesnt look too bad. The only things I can see wrong are a pretty good size dent on the pipe and it needs a new chain slider up near the front sprocket and the front brake lever is bent pretty good. Other than that everything works perfect and this bike really rips. These bikes were known for their top end power and I can see why. Overall this is a very nice low hour bike that runs and rides great and would make an excellent vintage racer. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask. There is NO TITLE with this bike, I can issue you a bill of sale if needed. I can store the bike for up to a month after the sale as long as its paid in full. Sold as-is, no warranty.On Sep-02-14 at 08:26:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: I removed the water pump cover and clutch cover and found that the inside of the pump housing is corroded like they all are but the inside of the clutch cover looks great. It has a couple spots that have been repaired but its been done nicely and there are no holes at all. I am, however, replacing the seal behind the water pump so that will be all set to go for the next owner.
