This is one of Two that I have for sale here on Ebay, the other is a 1942 Ford WWII Jeep, (see other items for sale). I purchased these for my collection a few years ago from a man who purchased and antique car from me and was one of the top restorer’s of Military Jeeps in the World and had seven of them and I bought two of his best. Now while I am a long time antique car collector for over 40 years I am not a Military collector per say however the level of quality in my collection is very high and this is why I purchased this Jeep. The restoration of this Jeep is very likely of the highest level of any example like this in the World. Everything, I mean everything was done to the highest degree one could attain today with every item done to the best show level one could imagine. This Willys Jeep only has 143 miles on the restoration. The body was of course removed from the frame as you can see and has no signs of usage to speak of. Everything nut & bolt is correct to show museum quality and is fitted with all the accessories including the top, and all the Army issue equipment as you can see by the pictures. This Willys when restored was done as a Generals Jeep and fitted with the original siren and red light. Everything works perfect and the restoration is over the top and done as good, or better than the factory in 1941 right down to the tags and window sticker including all the proper markings. All the data plates are there and nothing was overlooked. The most important thing is that this is a very early example, and you never see these and will most likely never see one this good. We must always keep in mind that we are all here today enjoying this great hobby thanks in part to our men & women serving our Country risking their lives every day to keep us safe.
