It has a 454 engine, and still has the 427 numbers on the hood in case winning bider wants to put a 427 back into it. That being said, this is an amazing example of American automotive craftsmanship. It is as much an artistic statement as it is an automobile. This vehicle (the 68 Vette) single-handedly ushered in the third generation of Corvettes. This a sexy, fast, powerful ride. Disclaimers: No vintage vehicle is without its flaws. In this case, they are minor. The odometer on the original engine assuredly re-set at some point and the mileage on the new(er) engine is unknown however it has been driven less than 1000 miles and been 100% garage-kept in the 4 years we have owned the vehicle. I was required to submit an odometer reading/mileage for the vehicle while listing it. The 101,000 miles is not accurate- this engine almost positively has much less- but the exact mileage is unknown. Please see pictures for quality/condition questions and or concerns.
