For Sale I have a Nighthawk Black Pearl 2007 Honda Element SC. This is a rather rare model of Honda Element, especially in this color. It features many more amenities and upgrades than the normal Element LX or EX. Condition:As stated above, the vehicle has most certainly been used and therefore does have some normal wear and tear. PAINT:The black paint on this car is in nearly perfect shape, no bubbles or cracks in the clear coat and no sun fading. There is one scratch on the driver's side door, one on the passenger side back door, and one on the rear bumper. There is one small ding on each side as well. On the hood of the car and the front bumper, there are a few paint chips but they are not noticeable unless you know what you are looking for (normal wear and tear once again) and they did not show up in the pictures.MECHANICAL:The car is in perfect mechanical condition. The engine is smooth and quiet and uses very little oil. The transmission does not skip gears and shifts smoothly without any noise. All brake pads were replaced about a year ago with Carbon Ceramic pads from Autozone and work just fine, no brake squeal or loss of power in rain. ABS kicks in when it needs to. This car has been very well maintained from the day we bought it (purchased the car as a Certified Pre-Owned with 54,000 miles on it). Last maintenance was on June 30, 2014 and included an oil change, a new cabin air filter, and a new bulb in the right brake light. The car has a readout (shown in pictures) which tells you the oil life and we have always had the oil changed when the car asked for it. As far as suspension goes, the front struts were replaced roughly a year and a half ago, and the car now rides plenty smoothly and does not rattle or squeak when going over bumps or speed humps. It's a Honda! This car will give you many, many more miles if maintained properly as we have.CHASSIS/RUST:As this is a Florida car, rust is a complete non-issue. This car has never seen salty, wet roads and there is no rust anywhere on the subframe, chassis, or body. And with the Honda Sport Suspension exclusive to SC-model Elements, the car tracks straight and true when you need it, and handles great when you want it. Features:INTERIOR:Unlike other trim levels of the Honda Element, the SC has carpeted floors in the front and back seats. There are also tribal styled (I guess that's how you would describe it) seats and red gauges and controls instead of blue and silver. The rear seats can be folded flat to make a bed for long road trips, folded up for extra cargo space or, if you really need room, can be removed entirely (replaceable of course). The SC model also has an exclusive 360-watt Honda Premium Audio system with 7 speakers (two tweeters up front, two normal speakers up front, two normal speakers for the rear seats, and a subwoofer) which I honestly believe to be one of the best car stereo systems Honda has ever made. Forget JBL or Sony, this stock system will deliver every bit of sound quality and bass you will ever want. There is also an AUX jack in the glove compartment to plug in an iPod or MP3 player and a CD player/FM Radio for all of your driving music needs.EXTERIOR:Aside from the excellent condition of the paint, the Element SC stands out by its aggressive SC-exclusive styling. The front fascia is completely different, the wheel arches are bigger, there are different (and quite stylish might I add) 18" alloy wheels. The body is all painted as well, where the LX has bare plastic pieces.CHASSIS:As mentioned before, the SC has a lowered sport tuned suspension for better handling and a lower stance. Vehicle History:We are the second owner of the car, purchased from Rick Case Honda Miami as a Certified Pre-Owned at 53,000 miles. The car ran out of warranty at 100,000. The car has never been in an accident. We still have all the original manuals and even the little touch-up pen that comes with the car. The car has also never been smoked in.
