For Sale: 1964 Chevy Corvette Roadster. Very rare numbers matching 3 speed manual transmission car. Only 442 roadsters had this option in 1964, the majority of cars were 4 speeds. This car has been in my family for over 13 years. I purchased this car from my dad in April of 2004. He owned it for almost four years. Since I have owned it, I have won an award or trophy of some type in every car show that I have entered this car in. The car looks and shows very well. This car has been adult owned, driven and cared for as long as it's been in my family. This car is stored in a climate controlled garage. It only comes out for Spring/Summer weekends and for car shows and parades. Last year, I put new tires on it (factory correct), I also replaced the fuel pump. The year prior, I replaced the car's battery. This car has never been wrecked. It is very nice and drives and runs like a champ, especially considering it's 50 years old. There are a couple of minor blemishes in the paint. The interior is perfect, as is the white fold down top, engine and engine compartment. The bumper chrome is bright and shiny, the chrome around the windshield is a little pitted, but not bad. This car comes with an aftermarket removable hard top. I have never had this on the car, my dad purchased the top when he owned the car. The car has an aftermarket Edelbrock intake manifold and 650 cfm 4 brl carburetor. Aftermarket valve covers and air breather and am/fm cassette player. (The chrome valve covers and air breather helps the car show better). I still have the original intake and carb, valve covers and radio. These parts will go with the car when it sells. The car has a numbers matching 327 cu in 250 hp motor. The car does not have power steering, power brakes, A/C or fuel injection. It's still very fun to drive and is certainly an attention getter. Buyer is responsible for shipping, although if you're close, I can possibly help you out. Car has a clean, clear title which can be put in escrow until certified funds clear the bank or unless cash is used. This vehicle has been relisted due to the original buyer's inability to secure the funds to purchase the car. His misfortune is your opportunity. I will respond to any and all questions.
