Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a kinda rare model a. It is a 1931 ford model a victoria from canada. If you try and research the production numbers, it is one of probably less than 800 vickys made in canada. It was purchased from ontario canada in the late 60's and parked in a garage in northeast ohio untouched since then until last month. It is a true garage find. It is the leatherback version of the car. It needs a total restoration, but most of the hard to find parts are there for the car. The frame on it looks really solid and nice and still has the banjo rearend, wishbone front end and mechanical brakes. The body on the car is pretty solid for being 80+ years old, it looks to have been patched at one time on the lower front cowl area, but it will need bottom door patches, and maybe rear wheel well patches. The top of the car on the passenger side has two areas that have rusted through, probably due to the leather top and water sitting up there, but that would be an easy fix, and would be covered up after it had the top put back on. One major issue that vickys have is the wood inner structure, and this car has a very nice wooden skeleton. No major rot issues, and the wood looks very solid and complete. See pictures for details. The floor pan is even very solid. The original rear seat with arm rests is there and tips forward for more storage. The front seats are there but not sure if they are correct. The engine in the car is an early b model motor, from what i can determine, and it was supposedly rebuilt in the 60's, so i pulled the head off, and it is definately clean on the inside, see pictures. I would say 95% of the car is there, i know it is missing runningboards, and maybe a windshield frame and side trim, but all the door hardware, window hardware, garnish moldings, and latches are all there. I know i am missing some things, but if you have any questions, give me a call and i can go over the car with you on the phone and give you a better discription. The car comes with a good ohio title. Thanks. Paul 330 715 3892 On Aug-22-14 at 18:57:01 PDT, seller added the following information: WOW! WHAT A RESPONSE. OVER 2500 VIEWS WITH 190+ PEOPLE SAVING IT AND WATCHING IT IN THEIR EBAY! TO ANSWER A FEW QUESTIONS, IVE HAD ONE BIDDER EMAIL ME ABOUT THE MOTOR SAYING THAT IT IS A MODEL B MOTOR, AND I VE HAD ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL LOOK AT IT AND THINKS IT IS A MODEL A MOTOR. REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT IS, CHECK THE PICTURES AND YOU BE THE JUDGE. FOR THE BIDDERS OUTSIDE OF THE U.S..... THE CAR DOES ROLL EASY AND ALL 4 TIRES DO HOLD AIR, AND I AM WILLING TO HELP LOAD IT ONTO A TRAILER AS LONG AS YOU MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PICKUP. THE CAR WILL NOT LEAVE UNLESS IT IS PAID FOR IN FULL. IT IS SOLD AS IS WITHOUT A WARRANTY WITH NO REFUNDS. THANKS .
