I bought a 3rd Gen Cummins so I am selling this one. It's a 1997 12v 4x4 extra cab long bed with 244,408 miles as of today. I will start with what I know it has based on me owning it and based on the info I got from the person I bought it from a little over 3 years ago. Upgrade Marine Injectors Rebuilt Trans @ about 175-185K Shift Kit Kevlar Clutches Oil Cooler w/ in cab switch Remote Dual Oil Filters KDP (done) P7100 Pump (I believe) 3k GSK 4" Turbo Back Exhaust Modified Fuel Plate Class 4 Towing Hitch Tail Light Brush Guards 2 1/2-3 Year Old Rims and Tires Falken Rocky Mountain ATS (approx - 50-60% left) LT 285/70 R17 Rear Air Bags w/onboard compressor w/inside control Rancho (I believe) Air Shocks on all four corners w/inside control (fuse blown or wire disconnected) Banks Gauge Package EGT, Engine Oil Temp, Trans Oil Temp, Boost (Line cracked, needs replaced) Tekonash Trailer Brake Controller Big Fancy Stereo w/Nav (only the radio works) Geno's Center Console Cup Holder Heavy Duty Floor Mats Towing Mirrors (Non-Power Kind) Westin Step Bars Westin Grill/Bumper Guard Digital HID (5000K-white) HID Headlights ATS Intake Elbow APE Magnum Force Intake Truck was set-up by previous owner for towing and he said he never towed as he sold his toys. I have towed no more than a 12,000 lb load a total of 2000 miles with the truck. Other than small motorcycle trailers it hasn't towed much to my knowledge. Previous owner also told me that the truck had a minor accident (should come up in CARFAX) on the drivers side rear where it had a tire delaminate and do some damage. That is the black marks you see in the photos. Truck is smog exempt in California, not in Nevada. I have all of the smog stuff off of the truck and it will be sold with the truck for Nevada residents. Includes crossover, EGR and new Magna Flow High Flow Cat. The truck passes smog annually with flying colors and very very low emission numbers. Paint, is sunburnt on the cab and is pretty bad, the rest of the paint looks good in the pictures as it was just waxed. In a month or two it will begin to fade again. So the paint is ok. Oil and Fuel Filter changed regularly, oil is good at the moment, but the fuel filter is due. I have all maintenance records for the last 3 years. This is an old truck in good/decent condition, it has bumps and bruises. However, it is a daily driver and gets about 15-16 mpg in town and 19-20 mpg on the highway. Could get more but I typically drive 70-75 mph. I would not have a problem driving this truck across country right now. Cruise control does not work. Interior is in good condition, the dash however is all cracked up. The front brakes need power bled as when I swapped the rotors and pads last year I got a bubble and could not get it by hand bleeding. Every once and awhile if I park on a hill with the truck facing up I have to pump the brakes to get a firm pedal. Not sure what the front end needs but it hasn't been gone through since I bought the truck and I do get a hop in the front end when stopping. Starter was rebuilt 2 1/2 years ago, water pump replaced 2 1/2 years ago, alternator replaced 1 year ago, Serp belt replaced 1 year ago, New Magna Flow muffler installed 2 1/2 years ago. Front and Rear Differentials were serviced 8000 miles ago this time last year. Transmission and T-Case were serviced 8000 miles ago this time last year. Invoice from the trans says it had excessive clutch material in the pan when oil was changed. I went down and was showed the filter which was spotless, the manager told me most likely it was left over material from the rebuild that did not get flushed. Trans performs flawless and shifts firm and hard and does not slip. I have put almost 50,000 miles on this trans and it has never missed a beat. I have to best of my ability tried to cover everything I know about this truck, I have nothing to hide, come and drive it, inspect it, take it to a mechanic what ever you need to do to feel comfortable about handing me some cash and driving her home.
