I am selling my 02 Jeep Liberty which is in "OKay" condition. The A/C is working,the heat is working fine,the windows,wipers,radio,seats,heated seats are all working fine. the tires are in good condition. There are no known engine problem or transmission problems(I had AMCCO check out the transmission). Problems; the 2 front catalytic converters need to be replaced($400 on ebay)I have already replaced the complete middle assembly pipe and converter brand new this year. The thermostat needs to be replaced(I have purchased from dealer) I had the vehicle checked out by mechanic and this it what I was told;"once you replace the converters the thermostat the check engine light will go off". As a result the vehicle hesitates to start and will not go over 40mph(2000 rpm) with out "coughing" sort of speak. I was told due to it trying to breath.
