Vehicle Detail

Selling to regain garage space. Drove it on vacation to Tennessee from Ohio this summer; great trip! I am pretty much done with old cars. Focusing on other things. Recap all the details: 1964 Olds 98 Luxury Sedan Almost 39,000 miles. To the best of my knowledge, and the opinion of three experienced professionals: these are ORIGINAL miles. The title does NOT reflect that; i.e. the previous owner "was not 100% sure" that the miles were original, so he did not check that box on the title app. Those who inspected it based their opinion on paint in hidden places, interior condition, and engine compression and power. The engine is definitely all original and unmolested! Runs smooth and straight up to 75mph. Haven't had it over that. Power windows work perfectly. Power seats the old "6-way" power bench seat. Power steering and brakes. (of course they would be on a luxury car of that era.) A/C converted to R134, new compressor, and it blows cold! Factory AM/FM radio. YES! Trunk and floors are solid! Carpet has minimal wear for the age of the car. Very nice condition. Minor tears in seats at about four seams. Where vinyl and cloth are joined. Front and rear seats have large fold-down arm rests. VERY COMFY! All interior lights work. Instrument panel is amazing! NO pitting or rust at all! It truly is beautiful!! No tears in dash or headliner. New exhaust manifold; the car is now quiet. (Unfortunately; but it made my wife happy on the trips we took! Seriously!) Rear air shocks. They were on it when I got it. I have chrome rings and chrome lug nuts on it now. Just tried a bit of a different look. I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL HUBCAPS. There is the worst rust around the fender skirts, or rear wheel well areas. Pic's will show it. Other body condition: minor blemishes and spots of rust. See the pictures; the car looks great, and gets a LOT of thumbs up. BOTTOM LINE: This is NOT a restored, or perfect, or '10' car. It is a very good original car that drives beautifully! It has blemishes and tears. But it is VERY comfortable! It is priced VERY reasonably for this condition. There is NO warranty, guarantee, promise or certification of any kind, except that I have described it as accurately and honestly as I can. If you buy without inspecting it, please do not complain later. The car is located in Marion, Ohio, less than 5 minutes from US 23. I am starting the bidding much lower than my previous listing last month, and with "NO RESERVE". (Ebay style 'no reserve') Considering the bids start at $3200, somebody is going to get a FANTASTIC deal! I am listing all the pic's I have, so that's all there is; the limit allowed. Any questions? Ask early! Give me time to answer. The coming weekend is pretty free to show it, if desired. GOOD LUCK, BIDDERS!!!
