This is a 69 GTO that ended up at our shop to check out. We have an over seas customer that has spent much on this car over the years since 2007. He asked us to help sell his car has a project car to a Pontiac enthusiast and GTO lover. We are MidSouthern Restoration out of Cookeville TN and that is where the car is located. The owners interest have changed. The GTO has been in a couple other shops that were fraudulent and did not provide the work he has paid for. This is the way we received the car. The body in the past has been removed and the frame was sandblasted and painted. Then all new Global West suspension was added along with rack and pinion steering. There is a 12 bolt rear end in car and the ratio is 3:36 Posi trac. There are disk brakes on all 4 corners as well has brand new wheels and tires. You can see in the pictures the new parts and not inexpensive parts has you can see. It appears that the car has at least one new quarter panel and new doors and front fenders. The door handles were filled in. There are boxes of parts and many parts are missing. The body work is presentable but not quality. The body appears to be rust free. The body tag decodes has a 69 GTO and there is a picture of it for you to decode. There are new front seats but no back seat., and no front or rear glass. There is no back bumper or front and rear glass. There is a new a dash board from Just Dashes that has not arrived yet but will be shipped to buyer/ winning bidder. There are many reciepts that are in possesion will be given on parts. The rear defrost is in tact and there is a new aftermarket steering column. There are pic's of most parts in our possesion and all question will be answered to best of our knowledge through ebay email. We can help load out or local pick up is required. The original motor and transmission are long gone. This auction is for body and rolling chassis and all remaining parts that came with the car. There was a high performance Chevy small block and tremic 5 speed set in place but never hooked up. They were pulled out and will be sold in a seperate auction.
