Well here is the answer to your wish…… Here for auction is a 1931 slant window 4 door, a desirable car to start with, but this one is fully restored plus it is air conditioned! It is equipped with the Ken Davis AC kit and if you check the Ford Barn threads, this set up has great reviews. Check one of the photos to see the condenser and muffin fan under the back panel. After a body off restoration in 2000 it was driven some and its current owner then in 2012 added the following features…incidentally, those 83,014 miles you see on the odometer are original…. The drive train was updated and the engine was completely machined and rebuilt by Bert’s Model A in Denver. · It now has a balanced crank, insert main and rod bearings, new rods and pistons, a high compression 5:1 head, weber down draft carburetor, Ford V8 flywheel and clutch and a leak proof water pump. · New 4 core radiator · Conversion to a trouble free 12volt system…wiring harness still looks original · Electronic ignition · A Mitchell full syncro transmission · A Mitchell overdrive….if you choose you can drive this car all day at 60mph · Stainless exhaust with muffler shield · Halogen head lamps and LED tail lights and turn signals · 1956 F100 steering box and steering wheel keeping the original horn button, spark and throttle shafts. · Four new “quality” cast iron USA brake drums The mohair upholstery is in restored condition and the custom cover that you see on the front seat lets the current owner slide more easily into the driver’s seat. Cover can easily be removed. Also equipped with 5 powder painted bent spoke Kelseys with new in 2012 Coker white wall radials. The original left front fender was replaced with a NOS Model A hearse fender with a wider well…no alteration needed. This car has been driven enough to be considered “debugged”. It is ready to tour.
