THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT MY AUCTION. I HAVE A 2001 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SERIES II FOR SALE. IT IS GOLD/TAN IN COLOR WITH TAN SEATS THAT ARE IN VERY NICE CONDITION FOR THE YEAR. IT HAS TWO WORKING SUNROOFS, POWER WINDOWS, SEATS, POWER MIRRORS, AM FM CASSETTE AND A 6 DISC CD PLAYER. IF YOU ARE WONDERING IF YOU CAN DRIVE THIS TRUCK THE ANSWER IS YES. THERE IS NO RUST OR DENTS EXCEPT THE ONE THAT WILL BE IN THE PICTURES I WILL POST ON 8/7/14. IT IS IN NEED OF AT LEAST A TUNEUP AND SERVICING. OKAY WITH THAT BEING SAID IT IS FOR SALE AND VERY CHEAP TOO. I purchased this vehicle as a project car for the body alone because I like this model but most of the ones I could find had too much damage or rust but when I picked up this vehicle, it cranked right up without any issues. I drove it 50 miles home and the main thing I noticed was it was sluggish. I believe a major tune-up will take care of that issue but I am not a mechanic so I make no claims. I paid premium money for the vehicle because the body was in such good shape. It drove straight and all power options worked including the AC. The only exception is the passenger door locks and the driver seat. The body is is in very good condition (except as noted in the condition description) and the rear hatch door needs repair (closes and lock securely but there is a slight gap. This should make someone a very good looking student, 2nd vehicle or daily driver (with a small investment). This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime at my option. A non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 must be received in my paypal account no later than 24 hours after the close of this auction. The balance must be received in cash in person when the vehicle is picked-up no later than 3 days after the close of auction. The vehicle will be relisted immediately and eBay will be notified if the deposit or the balance is not paid at the above listed intervals. Yes the SUV drives well except for being sluggish (and yes the AC blows cold). 2. I bought this SUV as a project vehicle for off road purposes but it is too nice for that. I answering this question before I am asked - I will end the auction early if I receive an acceptable offer, per eBay messages, but you must place a bid on the auction first.
