Vehicle Detail

In the 1970s and 1980s we were Italjet dealers and they were great little bikes 50cc all the way up to the 350cc trials bikes. I remember the rep calling me and telling me a handful of highly tuned little racers with 13 HP and 6 speed gear boxed were available on a limited basis. We could only talk them out of 2 and what a handful those little bikes turned out to be. My sons (5,6 and 8 at the time) were very good little riders on the little bikes with automatic clutches that were the rage, but the little PR-50 was way too hot for any of the kids to handle. We found a 12 year old that was racing a Kawasaki 80cc at the time and convinced him to enter the dirt track races on the little PR-50... I remember the look on his face when he first rode it. With really big eyes, the kid only said one word , and I wont print it here. I found this little bike to restore for my grandson and what a search it was. Short story he has no interest. So here you go, I am listing it with no reserve. It is in Gig Harbor, Washington and you will have to either come get it or have it shipped like I did. When it arrived, I mixed up a little gas and 2 stroke oil, and it fired with up. I shifted well and I shut it down. This is a bike to restore. I don't know if you will ever find another. I see there are a considerable number of Italjet parts available on eBay too. They did not have titles, but you have to put something in the box so I selected clear. Will provide a bill of sale. I believe it is a 1980 but it could be a 1979.
