In 1971, only 62 Plymouth GTXs were built with the 390 HP V-code 440 6 Barrel & hemi 4 speed transmission! This 24,000 mile MAGAZINE CAR is one of the 62! It was built in B5 blue with a black interior, V7X black side stripe (white decals added), rally gauges w/tach, hood pins, rear wing, front chin spoilers, 15x7" rally wheels, chrome exhaust tips, power steering, heavy-duty 11" manual drum brakes, buckets, console, pistol grip, Track-Pack (3.54 Dana 60 rear), AM FM radio, It has the original Hemi-4 speed tranny, vin tag, body numbers & a correctly date-coded engine. All the sheet metal is original..this car is very clean!! Most of the interior is original & is very nice throughout! It is not a "rotisserie" restoration but all the suspension & brakes have been rebuilt, this car is as nice as a person would want to drive on a regular basis- the paint is very nice & all the fit etc. is very good. It runs great & very strong & the tranny etc. work very well. Everything functions as it should but the tach quit working & is sitting on 3 grand (new ones are available now). It tells a lot about these cars when they have a mint original dash pad, door panels & sheet metal- I think the headliner & seat covers are original also! The foam in the seats doesn't feel "crushed" when you get in! It's simply a "good car".
