This great looking 2 OWNER car was originally sold in California and comes with STACKS of receipts dating back to the late 70s. This is a highly documented car with the original owners manual and even the original warranty card. I have owned over 100 mustangs and I have NEVER had a car that had this original warranty card. The floors on this car are completely solid rust free and dry. You can even see some of the original red oxide primer showing through in some places on the floors. This car has been well cared for its whole life and it truly shows. This beautiful Bronze coupe has a great shifting automatic transmission and ice cold A/C which makes this ideal for hot climates. The doors hood and trunk all open up like a brand new car because this car retains its original parts and few if any Chinese reproduction parts. This is a solid 100% Rust Free Mustang!! The floor pans are absolutely beautiful and completely rust free. The body panels line up amazingly well and everything opens and shuts with ease.This is an excellent driving Mustang. Click to enlarge Exterior: This Mustang looks great finished in its factory color of Prairie Bronze that is in very nice shape. The car appears to have been repainted once in its life and whats truly amazing is the date coded sheet metal. There are date codes on the rocker, fenders, trunk aprons etc... all indicating factory sheet metal. The door, hood and trunk gaps all line up excellent! The body is LASER straight and looks beautiful. Again, this is a solid rust free Mustang!!! All of the rubber seals were replaced after the car was painted and are all in great condition. All of the chrome is in excellent condition. The car even retains its Carlite glass!!! The exterior is really set off by the vinyl roof and "Pony" wheels. This is a car that you could bring to a local car show and show it with pride, or you could go on great long weekend drives in. This car was painted several years ago and has held up well while not a flawless paintjob it shows very nicely. Overall the exterior is in great shape. Click to enlarge Interior: The classic Palomino interior of this mustang is like new and in excellent condition. The front and rear seats are new and in excellent shape. They are free of stains and tears. The headliner and door panels are also new and finish the car beautifully. The dash pad is in perfect condition and is free of cracks etc... Every courtesy light, every gauge etc... are all in great working order. The A/C with modern rotary compressor blows ice cold and makes this car easy to drive year round. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and like new. The original radio was removed and a more modern unit sits in its place. The dash has not been modified to accept this radio and the original 65 spec radio comes with the car. It is a great place to waste the weekend away. Click to enlarge Engine: The 289 Ford V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The engine runs beautifully and largely leak free as well. The car was recently treated to a rebuilt carb and the car runs excellent. A brand new dual exhaust system was also just installed giving the car a great muscle car sound. The cars transmission was rebuilt and shifts great. The transmission shifts smoothly and is in great working order. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The A/C has been updated and features a modern A/C compressor which works much more efficiently than the original single piston style that the car came with. The car steers beautifully and the suspension has been updated with new shocks yielding a tight feeling when driving down the road.
