1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Coupe. Very hard to find one in this condition. being a one owner car, un-restored, and 95% all there. Fenders had been removed at one time, right rear is off a 38 sedan, excellent condition. right front is original, solid, and in very good condition. left rear fender I added to the project and beleive to be a NOS fender. Right front fender and radiator shell came from another 38 coupe that had been wrecked. fender will take some work to metal work to get nice, but it is solid. Grill shell needs minor straightening to be real nice. Deck lid will need metal repair to the bottom of it. Body is very solid with the only know bad areas being the quarter panels in front of the rear fenders and the very rear body behind the trunk pan. These are very common problem areas and metal patch panels are available to repair these areas. Floor pans all look to be pretty solid. The frame has one spot on the front frame rail horn where bumper bolts on showing some rot. Only spot on the frame I am aware has any issues. There may be other areas that need repair but they are small. I was told by the family i got the car from it last run sometime 2012, but I have not tried to start it. Has original glass, doors have never been apart, original door panels, seat frame, original Philco radio, spare tire, original jack, bumpers are nice condition but will need re-chromed. Running boards are the only thing I know are missing from this car. Running board supports are with the car. This is a very solid car for being 75 years old. They don't get much nicer than this as far as barn finds go. I do have a clear Ohio title as well. A $200 non refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of conclusion of auction. I am willing to deliver within 200 miles for $1.50 per mile which is also non refundable.
