1976 BMW R90S, numbers matching, and 90% original. Paint is not original, and the tank may not be original, (see photo showing recessed style gas cap) I always thought it was, because this bike was at the end of the production year for 1976, but it has been pointed out to me that it may not be the original tank. Includes both original factory Krauser hard side bags and chrome mounting hardware. Dyna III Electronic ignition added a few years ago, makes it really dependable and easy starting. Staintune Stainless steel exhaust added a couple years back, new battery and battery cable last year, tires have one season on them. New Replica Shocks by Bob's BMW last year. New brake lines and progressive fork springs as well as new fork seals in 2005. Previous owner lightened flywheel. Bike runs very strong and corners like a champ. Bike is road ready and dependable, around 75K original miles. It's never been down, mechanically it is in great shape and would make a great rider as is, or an easy starter for full restoration. All gauges and signals work, although the low beam in the headlight is out. Was factory tuned at BMW dealer in Tigard in 2013 after I rebuilt the carbs. Starts well warm or cold, and idles great. I am selling this bike locally in Portland OR. Any buyer welcome to come and look, test rides with cash in hand. I do not warranty this bike in any way, because of it's age, but I guarantee it runs great and will go down the road in a straight line when you buy it.
