The start of the Fox Body. This is a very original 1979 Ford Mustang Indy Pace Car Replica. Ford built 10,478 replicas. Only 5970 Mustang Pace Car were powered by the 2.3L Turbo Engine and a T-4 Transmission which produce 1 more horse power than the V8. The car is very originals and show well. It was the only Ford in collection of Indy Pace Cars. This is a survivor and would score very well the catagory. The car has a sun roof, premium sound systems, deluxe seat belts, dual-remote outside mirrors, light group, and a special dash plaque. Everything works in the car and it drives like a 23000 mile car. The car is well documented. It is one of two special cars I own. The other is a 1971 Ford Boss 351 Mustang with 19000 original miles (Not For Sale). My reason for selling with it partial to the 1969 Camaro Pace Cars. Therefore, I decided to let this one go to a good home.
