This auction is for a 1977 VW Rabbit 4 cly with a straight shift !! Let me start by saying I am listing this car for my son in law whom was left this VW by his Grandfather whom bought the car new in 1977.. The car is located in Aiken SC, If anyone wants to view the car or when it sells a Gentleman whom lives next door will show or deliver the car to its new owner, My son in law ( Russ) has clear title in hand.. When Russ went down about three months ago the car started right up and sounds great, when driving car the brakes were down some but everything else seemed fine.. The interior is in great shape as is the body and paint.. Would clean up and look good and it has NO rust anywhere on panels !! Starting bid is 1500 with no reserve.. I dont know much about the old rabbits but it is a cool 1 owner VW that nada price guide seems to be proud of.. Maybe a rabbit car club out there some where ???
