1964 1/2 Mustang (titled as 1965, of course) Call me at 864-907-0740 if you have any questions. Thanks! Engine: Original 260 V8 engine with minor modifications over the past 50 years like 4 barrel carb and intake and different heads. Originally had a generator on it instead of an alternator but that has been updated as well. Transmission: 5 Speed Overdrive manual transmission out of a 90's Mustang so car gets good gas mileage. About 23 mph when driving it easy. Paint: Painted back in 2003 just after I sold it to a friend of mine. Currently the clearcoat is peeling off and some very minor rust is showing thru. Body: The hood has damage to it and would need to be replaced to be perfect. It opens and shuts fine, though. There is minor rust around rear quarters, this is a common issue because moisture gets trapped between the panels in this area. This is NOT rust from salt. The underneath of this car is almost flawless, I will get pictures of it underneath shortly. Never any panels replaced because of rust. Brakes: The front are disc and it has been upgraded to a double master cyl. Interior: Cold Air Conditioning - Carpet is faded and stained. Front seats have tears in them. Back seat is in great shape. Currently only the driver's seat has a seat belt as they were not required in 1964 when this car was built. History of the car: I bought the car in 1999 in Sumter SC. Car has been in the south its entire life. I drove the car every day as my only means of transportation for 4 years and then I sold it to a friend. I bought the car back in June of 2013 and have been driving it since. Dependable car with great gas mileage. I am selling because I have too many vehicles and projects.
