Here for auction is a beautiful time capsule 1953 Ford Sunliner convertible. It is believed that the 47,000 miles on the odometer is original mileage judging by the car’s condition. In fact the car has been a 6 time Dearborn winner in the Early Ford V8 Club. The car shows no evidence of ever having any rust issues which is indicative of a genuine California car. In fact it was purchased a few years ago from a long time California Ford collector. It is almost all original paint having been touched up some over the years. The car has newer tires on freshly powder painted wheels. The upholstery is all original, the rear floor mat original, the front floor mat a Drake product. The top is Haartz canvas and is in very good condition. The top, radio, heater, wipers and other instruments all work. The engine was represented as the original and we have no reason to believe otherwise. It does not smoke or have blow by. It starts easily and with the 3 speed overdrive, you can easily drive the Interstate speed limit. It drives like new. This is a no disappointment car. Not many around in this fine condition.
