This is a 1988 BMW e30 M3 in DiamondSchwartz with black interior. There are currently 138,xxx miles on the car. The build date for this car is 3/87 which makes it an early production car. There were only 5300 of these cars built for US production from 3/87 to 12/1990. This car was built to 1987 specifications. The History I bought this car from the owner of UUC Motorwerks in Atlanta, GA last year. I am told that this car was originally purchased from a buyer in the United States to opted to take advantage of BMW's European delivery program and pick the car up in Germany as it rolled off the assembly line. From there, the car apparently stayed in Germany for a period of time and was housed at the world famous Nurburgring in Nurburg, Germany. The car computer is still set to German. At some point afterward it was shipped to the United States and has been here since. As far as I am aware, I'm the third owner of the car. The Car This e30 M3 has several very special parts. First it has the European M3 "dog leg" 5 speed transmission. This is a close-ratio version with a direct top gear and a “dogleg” shift pattern for European-spec cars. It also has the OEM European Evo adjustable rear spoiler and OEM Evo front bumper. The wheels are very rare European M3 EVO 16"x7.5" wheels that have the same appearance as the e30 M3 factory wheels but are wider. These wheels alone are very hard to come by and very desirable. The steering wheel is the M-Technic II Sport Evo Suede steering wheel. The headliner is a custom alcantara headliner that cost $900.00. In addition to those parts a UUC sport exhaust and Racing Dynamics front strut brace are installed. The Condition The car is DiamondSchwartz metallic and has recently been repainted. There is no damage to the car and you can see in the photos that the body is perfect. The interior is in good condition but showing some wear on the passenger side seat. The tires are in excellent condition and have extensive tread life as you can see in the photos. The engine bay is clean and the car has recently received a new hood latch cable, new A/C blower resistor and brakes. The spare wheel/tire has never been installed and is in mint condition. All of the gauges work, as does the radio. The wheels use 52mm wheel studs installed currently to fit e30 and e36 size wheels and tires. While I have not tracked the car, this setup allows the car to accept multiple wheel options for the track. With these wheel studs installed, the center caps do not fit. However, I will include brand new factory wheel studs and center caps if the car sells for the right price so you can go back to the factory look. The headlights have been tinted using tint material and can be peeled to return to factory look. The kidneys have been painted black and can be returned to original as well.
