1988.5 Suzuki Samurai JX with 113499 original miles. This samurai has been in my family since 1998, my father cared for this up until I purchased it from him in 2012, he always kept it clean and in a heated garage we also used synthetic oil and changed it at 3000 miles, this was our sunday driver, we both have never driven it in snow. This Samurai is exceptionally clean for being a 1988.5, the difference from the 1988 and 1988.5 is the square vents as you can see in the picture, the extra spokes on the steering wheel, and the radio is intergrated in the dash, this samurai shifts very smooth, it starts up and idles perfect, the clutch feels great, 4wd works, and drives very nice i never had any issues, it has no oil leaks and does not smoke or burn oil, it drives very nice and is a blast to drive. Features a Doug Thorley header, Taylor wires, MSD coil, and cold air intake, i do have the factory airbox which will come with the vehicle, it also has a Flowmaster muffler, it has a pioneer cd player, with 4 after market speakers, I just installed a new battery over the weekend, I also have a bikini top that will come with the Samurai. The Samurai is black and purple in color, it has a very nice black base which fades into a deep purple. I always get compliments on it, There are some slight blemishes in the paint which i took pictures of and included them in the auction, please view the last 3 pictures you will see slight bubble on the passenger rear quarter, the front fender and on the drivers side door, also the drivers window needs the plastic trim, i have seen these for sale cheap, but when the window is only down a little bit it vibrates, the underneath of the Samurai is clean with no holes or major rust at all, i have included pictures of the underside, this is my fourth samurai so i know the common rust points on these vehicles and this one has no signs or common rust spots, the interior has the common issues, with the drivers seat is slightly ripped from the handle on the side, and the back seat has the common rip where it is seemed together. The soft top has no holes and does not leak, it fits the way it should, as with the bikini top, it is in great shape. the tires hold air fine but will most likely need a new set soon it does not wear tires and tracks down the road perfect, the tires on it are a lower profile than the stock ones and it handles and rides nicely. Over all this is a very nice samurai with no major blemishes at all, i tried to describe any issues i could find with it, none of the issues are major and the blemishes in the paint are very small and not easily noticeable, i just wanted to give an accurate description, feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all.
