Barn find from an estate Deville convertible mostly original, shows signs of an old repaint, it's supposed to be blueThe original color was paint code #28 caribe blue, look it up online, interior to match, white roof Very little rust, floor boards are very solid, trunk has a little patch, gas tank and fuel lines hold fluid, frame solid Was stored for 12 years in a dry warm garageI bought it with full intention to restore it but I have my hands full with job and other obligationsWhen I got it from an old woman whose husband died 11 years earlier it took her that long to let goI took it to my storage garage and tinkered with it and soon it was running, ran clean and good no smoke or knocks or ticks After I got in running I drove up and down the driveway and a brake line went out, bet it went good and strongHave an ignition key but no door/trunk/glovebox key, glove box lock is gone and trunk lock is drilled outNeeds a little exhaust work, prob exhaust manifold gaskets and needs smog tubes removed or replaced they leak Car needs a light restoration, or make a neat rat rodI imagine hand made roof material of your choice and seat coverings and flat white or blue paint, be creativeOr it would be great also correctly restoredEither way it has the solid bones to do anything you desireFrame and floors are very solidSomeone did body work to some of the bottoms of the panels but it's straight otherwiseIt actually shines pretty goodIt does have an amateurish color change though A picture says a thousand words so look at emIt starts right up Car runs and moves Needs brake lines and fresh gas and tune up to be drivableEverything is there, nothing is missing chewed up or cut but there is no power to inside of car, probably something silly like a fuse or something I don't know I have looked at that The 1968 472 is the best cadillac motor ever, look it up, 10.5/1 compression, factory balanced and blueprinted, amazing huh?
