Vehicle Detail
Please read the entire description...almost everything you might want to know will be covered..and please do not bid if you do not have the funds available to purchase..having to relist due to non paying bidders costs me time and money..OK, first, the basics, this is a 2012 Ford E150 SuperDuty Handicap accessable / wheelchair lift van w/ a BRAUN rear lift. It has a V8 gas engine, automatic transmission, AC, PL, PW, Cruise, Tilt wheel. It has 71,000 miles and runs great. You can barely tell it's running at idle- it's that smooth. Starts, runs, drives, shifts as it should, no problems, no leaks, no engine codes, no warning lights on. Tires are 60% front, 90% rear ( very good ). Runs straight down the road, no pulls, steering wheel is straight and level. All accessories work.OK, now here's the story on the title. This van was involved in a front end collision. AIR BAGS WERE NOT DEPLOYED. I bought it from the insurance company w/ a salvage title, as they did not want to repair it. I took it to my Body & Paint shop ( Metrix Auto Body & Paint in Santee, Ca, ) and had it repaired. We replaced the RF fender, hood, bumper, bumper brackets, AC condensor, PS cooler, trans cooler ( the last two coolers were OK but looked ugly because they had many bent "fins" so I replaced them anyway to do the best job possible, now you can look thru the grille and all you see is new straight parts..) I had the frame checked, although I wasn't all that concerned since the impact wasn't even enough to deploy the air bags. So after the frame check, they reinstalled the front sheetmetal parts and then painted the front end, blending the color through the front doors as to not leave an obvious color line ( new paint vs. old paint ) then it was clear coated, wet sanded and machine polished to a factory ( or better ) smooth shine. The gaps between the doors / fenders / hood etc are all parralel and correct. The van is being detailed today in preparation for sale. The seats, and the rest of the interior are in very good shape, no rips / tears etc. Just a slight bit of normal wear.So this is your chance to get a $20,000 + handicap van and save thousands in the process. CA buyer will pay sales tax. Out of state buyers do not pay tax ( here ) if they ship the van out of state. IF YOU DRIVE IT in CA. you WILL have to pay the CA. sales tax.I think I've covered most of the details, but feel free to call me with any questions, I'm happy to try to help in any way I can..Thanks, Stu619-315-8428
