1955 Nash Rambler Custom - Farina Edition. I bought this car on Ebay in 2005 with around 31,000 miles and am selling it now due to a move. The car is very complete, is a real head turner and is in very solid condition. It appears to have had one repaint well before I got it, although the roof appears original. Excellent gray cloth and white leather interior, in the deluxe Farina style. Door panels, dash and seats are all in excellent original condition, and reflect the low wear the vehicle has had. Four speed automatic transmission. Continental kit and Flying Lady hood ornament. The chrome is in overall good condition with some minor pitting due to its original condition. Included in sale is documentation from the 70's showing 28,000 miles. Original 1955 Rambler brochure, owner's manual and Technical Service Manual are included. The vehicle is in need of a tune-up and fluid changes but starts and drives very well. A new battery was installed last month. Over $2,000 in work was done after I purchased the car, including a complete brake job as well as work on the rear axle. Receipts included. Front and rear shocks were replaced in 2011, and electronic ignition added at that time. The car has mostly been resting since I obtained it, but is started regularly and driven occasionally.
