This is a 1970 BMW 2002. I have found some receipts that show it has been driving in California since 1989 in the central valley and SF bay area . You can hop in this car and go anywhere due to its great condition and constant maintenance through its life. The motor starts right up on a cold or hot day. The choke still works too! It shifts smoothly through all gears and is a blast to drive. Recently the clutch was replaced, the brake system had a nice overhaul, and new window seals were installed. The drivers door handle stopped working from the outside. I have not had anybody look into it yet.
