For sale is a 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL Roadster with 56k original miles. It is silver/grey paint with a matching removable hard top and a black soft top. This car is in excellent condition, especially considering that it is all original except for the radio head unit, which has been updated. The car runs and drives great and starts up perfectly every time. It has worked well as a daily driver for the last year and will continue to be reliable. The paint on the wheels is starting to peel from the aluminum. There is a tear along a seam of the passenger seat. There are some paint chips on the top of the car, near the trunk hinge. There is also one small crack in the dashboard. I purchased the car about a year ago at an auction for classic cars and it has been used as a daily driver since then. An AutoCheck report indicates that there were three previous owners. I've had a lot of fun in it, but I'm selling the car to replace it with a more fuel efficient vehicle. I'm constantly getting compliments from strangers who admire the car, and it always wins an award when I take it to car shows. It is evident by the cleanliness of the engine bay and the undercarriage that this car has lived an easy life and has been meticulously maintained. It performs and handles beautifully. As far as I know, this car has never been in an accident (there is no evidence of an accident). The sheet metal and frame are straight and rust free. The car is available for inspection by appointment.
