1950 Chevrolet 3100 short bed pick up truck w/ a 428 ci v8 and 4 speed manual.........This truck is turn key and needs nothing....Ready to go to your local cruise in or show's etc.... This is a cool old hot rod , it has been restored about 5 years ago and has 6800 on the restoration..It was a complete frame off and it still holds up very well , looks great!!The body on this truck is really nice , all steel except for the rear fenders they are glass, it has zero rust and is clean....It has a camaro front clip with disc brakes done professionally.. Power disc brakes10 bolt Posi rear with 3:73 gears mini tubbed in the rear but just a small one to run a decent size tire...Fuel cell mounted between the frame rails1967 corvette Fuel door to access the fuel cell , looks great !!all finished hard wood in the bed of the truckalong with matching custom running boardsCustom hardwood tail gate inlay to matchall new fuel lines brakes lines all new hardwarenew rear springslowering springsPoly mountscustom steering linkWeld racing wheels with nice 275's on the rearPlus a bunch more... the under carriage on this truck is nice...The paint is a single stage paint job that the previous owner did , it don't look bad at all but it does have a couple spots of orange peel that could be buffed out if you wish i just want to be clear about everything..It still looks great , im just picky like that.It does have a few small scratches here and there if you really look for them...The doors open and shut with ease and are tight....Windows go up and down nicely no binding..all the fresh air vents work.....Truck does have a heater for the winter that works great!!new painless wiring kitall new Stewart warner gauges all gauges work gas , temp , battery , speedometer , and oil pressure..all lights work , interior , hi and low beam , turn signals , brake lights , plate light ,Horn , there are blue accent lights on the floor that are on a hidden switch , looks great at night...gel cell batterybattery cut off switch on the floorthe vacuum wipers still work too..New carpet , newer gm seats with middle seat and fold down arm rest works great in the truck and comfortable too..Has over the shoulder and lap beltsnewer door panels and headliner panelGt steering wheelNew glove boxOver all i would say the interior is very tidy and comfortable for short or long trips....No rattles what so ever , this truck is Very tight..It drives down the road , really really well..... The motor is a 1968 Pontiac yh code 428ci , 375hp motor !With a 4 speed manual !!!Now thats a cool old motor.. All original with matching intake , matching carter carb and distributor ,46 heads etc it has been freshened up about 6 yrs ago and runs Very well...This is a pretty rare motor by itself..I thought of pulling it out and putting in a 420hp aluminum headed crate motor i have at the shop with zero miles on it but it runs so well and is not hacked in there...Its got all the pep this little truck needs.If you are aware of the older pontiac motors they were power houses, this motor was only made for 2 yrs...Hooker headers accell coilmsd wiresNew fuel pump water pumpDual billet air snorkelChrome hi output alternatorbraided hoses etcBe-cool aluminum radiatorelectric fans plus more..This motor runs great and sounds amazing , through the 2 1/2 " exhaust .....exhaust has been wrapped all the way back to keep temps down...Under the hood looks very presentable and is clean as a whistle , i wanted to give a little shine but not soo much to take away from the old school look i was going for..new heavy duty clutch4 speed works great and just does it job with out hesitation...Very fun truck with the big motor and a 4 speed..... There is a lot of small custom touches on this truck , so much so that i know i am forgetting a bunch..It run and drives excellent for being a 64 yr old truck....It rides better then some 5-6yrs cars i have driven...It will have some minor scratches like a said so please don't expect a Perfect show vehicle, it has been driven..Never in the rain or bad weather but we do enjoy it when we get the chance, and it enjoys being on the road too!!! Obviously the truck is sold without a warranty and in as-is condition , no expressed or written agreement is made on my behalf....Its a shame i have to do this but its the way it has to be...I just want to be clear about the condition of the vehicle , what i consider nice and what you consider nice could be 2 different things , we are human after all and i might miss small details but nothing major i assure you...You are encouraged to check the truck out in person to make sure it is up to your satisfaction before you bid..You are not bidding on a chance to come look and decide whether you want it or not ....Please ask any and all questions before the auctions end.... I priced it to sell because i found another classic i want and the truck just dont suite our needs with the seating, otherwise i would keep it because all it really needs is a good home....
