This is your chance to own that low-slung, badass bar-hoppin' old school Triumph chopper that you've always wanted. Triumph 650 with a Harley hard tail rear end and Kawasaki running gear, and very cool diamond tank. I got this bike about 15 years ago. I had the engine completely rebuilt by a Triumph specialist in Knoxville, Tennessee, new rings, pistons and bearings down to the crank, plus new Mikuni carbs and Boyer electronic ignition. The bike ran really great, and I put about 2,000 miles on it after the rebuild, however I am getting older and for the last several years, it has been sitting in my garage. Its time for someone else to enjoy it. Probably the carbs need cleaning and likely a new battery as it was intermittently running on just one cylinder. However the engine is sound. Clean Kentucky title says '68 model, but the man who rebuilt the engine for me said it was a '73 motor. If that is important, you can probably determine it from the following numbers stamped on the left crankcase: AE 09437 T120R. Many of you looking will know a lot more about Triumphs than I do, as I am not an expert, but I do know COOL when I see it. This bike is not your clean, chromed out, eye popping beauty - its more on the rat side. Paint not complete, chrome not perfect, and could use a real cleaning all over. The front brake needs a new master cylinder. Its Kawasaki. I've seen them on Ebay. I'm sure there are other things it may need here and there - if you have questions, please ask before bidding. I would prefer that the winning bidder pick everything up, but I can assist with shipping for additional charge commensurate with work required. Amen Savior-style plunger frame (maker is unknown), vintage front and rear Hallcraft chrome wheels with chrome discs (the rear one is on the frame, front pictured separately), handle bars, risers, a very cool and very hard to find dual shock girder front end, as well as one of the coolest coffin tanks I've ever seen. These are items that we originally made back in the heyday of Triumph choppers, late 60s early 70s, and cannot be found these days, but if you build it, they will be on your bike, no one else's. I pieced the frame, wheels and front end together to give you an idea. Seeing it like that is almost enough to make me change my mind about selling, but realistically at my age, I'm never going to complete it.
